Requirements

5+ years of Compliance experience in the relevant risk areas within the life science/healthcare industries, or a similarly highly regulated industry
B.A. or B.S. or similar university degree required
Business minded, risk conscious, proactive, solutions-oriented, and self-motivated professional, able to explain complex compliance points to the business; able to take business managers’ concerns and demands into account in how best to develop and execute on compliance strategies
Strong written and oral communication skills with a wide variety of audiences. Fluency in English and preferably fluency in other language(s) spoken in the EMEA region
Willingness to travel (~10%) and to visit sites within the region on a regular basis

Responsibilities

Review and advise on business activities and strategies and support implementation of Compliance systems, processes and controls
Modifying, updating, and implementing Compliance policies and procedures, and design and conduct ongoing Compliance training for associates
Conduct compliance risk assessments and develop risk management strategies and implement internal design controls to mitigate business risks, including third party/distributor risk management
Conduct regular compliance auditing and monitoring to assess the effectiveness of compliance systems, processes, and controls, and implement any required remedial actions
Promoting Danaher’s Code of Conduct, core values, Speak Up program, and conduct investigations and oversee implementation of related corrective actions
Partner with the Life Sciences Platform Privacy Lead and the Global Compliance Director to support the implementation and maintenance of the privacy program. Provide guidance to stakeholders on privacy related matters, facilitate the internal DSAR process, complete privacy impact assessments, etc
