Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in supplier quality management, including at least 5 years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949), risk-based thinking, and continuous improvement methodologies is required. Experience with highly regulated industries and counterfeit control programs is preferred.

Responsibilities

The Sr. Director of Supplier Quality will direct the Supplier Quality function enterprise-wide, ensuring processes align with the strategy and vision for Supplier Quality management. This includes managing performance measurement systems, developing policies, conducting audits, delivering training, and advising management on risk mitigation strategies. They will also oversee receiving inspection processes, non-conforming material management, and the software system supporting supplier quality processes, ensuring compliance with the Plexus Quality Management System (QMS). Additionally, the role involves owning the Plexus Counterfeit Controls and Mitigation Program, driving continuous improvement, and leading a global/regional/site level Supplier Quality team.
