Requirements

Candidates must possess a BA degree or 4 to 8 years of relevant experience. A current Security+ certification or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT level II certification is required, along with a final DoD Secret security clearance. Excellent communication skills and demonstrated technical experience with virtual and physical support systems are essential. Candidates should also have experience as an Active Directory Systems Administrator and an analytical approach to technical challenges.

Responsibilities

The Sr. Desktop Support Technician will provide Tier 1 problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of issues. They will plan and manage office moves, engage with external service providers for network services, and coordinate with internal service providers to ensure necessary equipment is in place. The role includes preparing new computing assets for installation, supporting escalation and communication of status to management and customers, and effectively engaging with customers and colleagues. Hands-on diagnosis of desktop issues and independent resolution of technical challenges in a dynamic environment with a focus on superior customer satisfaction are also key responsibilities.
