Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of assembly experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related field
- Read, write and understand English
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Extensive knowledge of soldering and/or soldering certifications (preferred)
- Ability to lift/push/pull up to 40 pounds
- Ability to work in warehouse environment under various temperatures
- Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance
- Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards
Responsibilities
- Assembles products in accordance with daily/weekly production schedules
- Assembles mid-level soldering of components to circuit boards, switches, connectors and face plates
- Solders and connects mid-level and high-level mechanical and electrical assemblies
- Reads and interprets electrical and mechanical engineering drawings and schematics
- Performs accurate wiring techniques, including harnessing terminations and connectors
- Follows established work processes, procedures, standards, and methods
- Uses various fixtures, gauges, and assembly tools to assemble, adjust, or repair product
- Performs manufacturing tests and written documentation as required
- Maintains equipment and performs housekeeping duties daily
- Occasionally performs other warehouse tasks as assigned
- Assembles instrument components, sub-components and electro-mechanical assemblies
- Performs soldering, fitting/mounting, alignment, adjusting and repairs
- Reads and interprets detailed schematics, engineering drawings, wiring schematics
- Works in conjunction with other specialists and under supervision
