Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of assembly experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related field
  • Read, write and understand English
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Extensive knowledge of soldering and/or soldering certifications (preferred)
  • Ability to lift/push/pull up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to work in warehouse environment under various temperatures
  • Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance
  • Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards

Responsibilities

  • Assembles products in accordance with daily/weekly production schedules
  • Assembles mid-level soldering of components to circuit boards, switches, connectors and face plates
  • Solders and connects mid-level and high-level mechanical and electrical assemblies
  • Reads and interprets electrical and mechanical engineering drawings and schematics
  • Performs accurate wiring techniques, including harnessing terminations and connectors
  • Follows established work processes, procedures, standards, and methods
  • Uses various fixtures, gauges, and assembly tools to assemble, adjust, or repair product
  • Performs manufacturing tests and written documentation as required
  • Maintains equipment and performs housekeeping duties daily
  • Occasionally performs other warehouse tasks as assigned
  • Assembles instrument components, sub-components and electro-mechanical assemblies
  • Performs soldering, fitting/mounting, alignment, adjusting and repairs
  • Reads and interprets detailed schematics, engineering drawings, wiring schematics
  • Works in conjunction with other specialists and under supervision
