Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting and 2-3 years of experience in public accounting or a similar industry. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required, along with strong written and verbal communication skills. High proficiency in Excel and Google Apps for Business is essential, and experience with Netsuite and Big Four audit experience are considered a plus. Responsibilities

The Senior Accountant I will create rollforward schedules for monthly changes in unit-related Balance Sheet items, audit and analyze Property Management Software data for accuracy and reconciliation to cash receipts, and process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. Responsibilities include working closely with the Operations Team on balancing reservations and charges to Owners, performing data transfer and reconciliation, analyzing Income Statements and Balance Sheet reports, and reconciling cash receipts daily while responding to chargeback cases. The role also involves driving process improvements, researching accounting topics, supporting the monthly close process, performing flux analysis, reconciling balance sheet accounts, assisting with consolidation, and corresponding with other corporate departments to ensure proper accounting treatment of income and expenses. Other tasks and projects as assigned are also part of the role.
