Responsibilities
- Investigating, treating, and supporting clients with complex conditions within long-term care, psychogeriatrics, and somatic care
- Supervising the multidisciplinary treatment team
- Contributing to the development and implementation of the organization's medical policy
- Taking overall responsibility for the content of individual treatment plans
- Collaborating closely with involved care teams, therapists, and clients and their families
- Working within a team consisting of geriatric specialists (i.o), general practitioners, nursing specialists (i.o), and practice support personnel (i.o)
- Participating in research networks (UNO-UMCG) and projects
- Collaborating intensively with other healthcare providers, general practitioners, hospitals, the first line, and pharmacies
