Requirements
- Certification in ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers); RDMS certification required
- Certification in Vascular ultrasound or must obtain RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) certification within 6 months from date of hire
- Graduate of CAAHEP accredited program in Ultrasonography
- 12 months experience in Vascular Ultrasound preferred
- Proficient experience or specialties in ABD, Breast, OB/GYN, small parts, and scrotum preferred
- 1-2 years of related clinical experience preferred
- Certification in OB/GYN preferred
- BLS certified or must be obtained within 1 week of hire
Responsibilities
- Operate ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasounds as directed by physicians
- Perform routine diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices
