Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
AWS, Azure, and GCP certifications (desired)
Practical experience with both Windows and Linux operating systems
Strong general networking skills, including knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, and firewall configurations
Experience with scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python)
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and self-motivated approach
Experience with a multi-cloud environment
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and related tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements in a cloud environment
Extensive experience with AWS and Azure environments

Responsibilities

Design and implement cloud architecture solutions that meet business and technical requirements
Author and review architecture artefacts including ROMs (Rough Order of Magnitude), HLDs (High Level Design), and BRDs (Business Requirement Document)
Lead cloud migration initiatives and modernization of legacy systems
Define cloud governance, security, and compliance frameworks adhering to Enterprise Architecture Governance processes
Highlight areas of risk and dependency, with associated mitigation proposals
Oversee all technical aspects of implementations for end-to-end integrated systems
Maintain in-depth knowledge of the organization's technologies and architectures
Develop logical, conceptual, and physical architectural models
Communicate solutions, architectural decisions, plans, and goals to project teams
Support business and IT strategic planning
Review new and existing program/project architecture for compliance with IT standards, policies, and architectural plans
Architect and design cloud solutions for platforms, including AWS, Azure, and GCP, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability
Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, implementation plans, and best practices
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams
Support project teams implementing infrastructure for global projects across divisions and defining solutions to meet business requirements
Collaborate with Network, Hosting, Cybersecurity, and Application Architecture teams to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective solutions and new technologies
