Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and have at least 4 years of hands-on experience in quality engineering, functional testing, test automation, and test harness development using open-source tools. Strong knowledge of frontend and backend applications, system testing, API and mobile testing, and integration with DevOps pipelines is required, along with proficiency in testing methodologies, tools, and techniques, including Agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

Responsibilities

The Sr.Software Test Engineer will be accountable for the successful launch and delivery of new Accela Product Releases and Engineering Initiatives, aligning with Cloud deployment activities. They will design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios to ensure the quality and reliability of software products, automating API and UI testing for web-based products and application services using Python with Robot Framework and other open-source tools, integrating test cycles with the CI/CD pipeline. The role involves participating in Agile team meetings, contributing to functional, performance, automation, and infrastructure initiatives, authoring and executing test cases for all release cycles, identifying gaps and issues, troubleshooting system problems, utilizing monitoring tools like Datadog and Windows/Database monitoring tools, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and staying updated with industry trends and testing techniques.
