You will work collaboratively within the CMT team on research and advanced development projects, such as contributing to advanced media ML/AI processing projects, developing Python-based scripts for media analysis, creating web-apps/dashboards for data visualization, contributing to subjective experiments evaluating video quality, and testing new video codecs.
Candidates must be currently enrolled undergraduate students in an accredited college/university pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Graphics Technology/Visualization or related field, with junior or senior year preferred.
Preferred qualifications include experience developing and optimizing AI/ML models and frameworks, knowledge of Python libraries such as pandas/NumPy for data analysis and matplotlib/plotly for visualization, video encoding and codec experience (e.g. H264, H265, AV1), experience with data visualization and analysis, building web-apps/dashboards, and working with Dockers.
This is a full-time Software Engineering Intern position for Summer 2026.
