Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
Typically two years of experience in a software product development environment (five years for senior position)
Direct experience developing web/cloud applications using TypeScript or Kotlin or REST/GraphQL services
Experience with object-oriented design principles and common design patterns
Familiar with Angular or other web application framework
Direct experience collaborating with local and global technical development teams
Preferred
Experience with Agile software development process, Scrum Master practice
Apply data structures and algorithms
Apply basic knowledge of testing web-based software products
Experience with the Industrial Automation industry

Responsibilities

Design new subsystem designs under the guidance of senior engineers, and implement the design
Help establish project timeline and the estimation of resources needed to build a design
Implement and document code that meets the requirements of the software design
Report, debug anomalies, determine the origin and cause of anomalies identified
Participate in reviews of documents, designs, code, test cases and user documentation
Build relationships and work with peers to ensure assigned tasks are prioritised
Think outside the box and be willing to research and explore new avenues by using the latest technologies and standards
Communicate updates and resolutions to customers and other partners and convey design concepts, both verbally and in writing
