Requirements

3+ years of hands-on coding experience in Rust
1+ years of hands-on coding experience in another language (C, Java, Golang, C#, Python) - strong plus
Experience building async and/or multithreaded applications/libs
Experience building high performance code (both space and time complexity)
Experience building dependency libraries - strong plus
Experience with NoSQL databases - plus; experience building/extending databases - strong plus
Self-starter that demonstrates initiative and ability to work independently with little supervision
If available, supply Git repos, code examples, or questions answered (StackOverflow, etc)

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and document Aerospike Client Libraries
Analyze and improve the performance, efficiency, reliability, and scalability of the client-server workflow via the client libraries
Work with support and sales teams to provide support for the product, with some on-call pager duty (9:30 AM to 9:00 AM 7 days, once every two weeks)
