The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in quality assurance, including both manual and automated testing. Proficiency in test design, execution, and QA principles is essential, along with the ability to manage complex QA tasks. Experience in planning and coordinating test strategies with cross-functional teams for high-impact product features is required. The role demands a customer-first testing approach, effective issue identification, analysis, and troubleshooting skills, and hands-on experience with defect tracking tools. Proficiency in functional and non-functional testing, coupled with hands-on test automation experience and a strong command of Java or another programming language (including OOP, data structures, and algorithms) is necessary. A solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience in fast-paced, agile environments are also key requirements. The candidate must be authorized to receive and access commodities and technologies controlled under U.S. Export Administration Regulations.
The Senior Software QA Engineer will collaborate with product, development, and QA teams to create comprehensive test strategies for functional and regression testing. They will design, implement, and execute test cases for new features, enhancements, and bug fixes across various environments. A key responsibility is to lead the expansion of automation coverage to reduce manual testing and enable faster release cycles. The engineer will conduct root cause analysis of customer-reported issues, work with cross-functional teams to drive resolutions, and ensure timely identification, documentation, and tracking of defects. They will also collaborate closely with developers for efficient bug fixing, monitor and track customer-reported issues, analyze trends, and prioritize solutions. Additionally, the role involves mentoring junior QA engineers, fostering a high-performance QA team culture, and providing insights to the QA vision and roadmap.
