Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with a minimum of 3 years of professional software engineering experience. Strong proficiency in multiple programming languages is required, such as Python, Go, or Java, and experience with cloud technologies like AWS or GCP is preferred. Familiarity with database technologies and API design is also necessary.
The Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the Modern Treasury platform, specifically focusing on the Payments, Reconciliation, and Ledgers products. This includes taking customer calls to understand their needs, coding new features and improvements, designing data ingestion systems, and coordinating with partners. They will also contribute to the development of robust, scalable systems to handle a high volume of API calls and ensure reliability, as well as writing quality API documentation.
