Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline with at least ten years of experience in software engineering, or an advanced degree (Masters or higher), or equivalent experience. They must have a minimum of ten years of experience in software engineering roles, focusing on designing, developing, testing, debugging, and implementing software solutions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required, along with proficiency in C# and .NET Core, including mastery of the C# language, syntax, and features. Expert-level understanding of Dependency Injection (DI) and object-oriented programming is essential.
As a Principal Software Engineer, the individual will lead the design, development, testing, debugging, and implementation of software solutions to meet business requirements and technical specifications. They will determine software application design requirements based on business needs and industry best practices, ensure the successful implementation and monitoring of software application improvements, and generate software engineering policies, standards, and procedures. Furthermore, they will provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives, and contribute to all aspects of software development from detailed programming to high-level architecture design.
