Requirements

3+ years of experience in backend development, with a focus on monetization, payments, or related domains
Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go (Python and Go preferred)
Experience with database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL solutions
Familiarity with payment gateways (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, Adyen) and subscription management platforms
Understanding of security standards and compliance frameworks like PCI-DSS and GDPR
Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize system performance and reliability

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services for monetization platforms, including payments, subscription management, and advertising
Implement secure and efficient APIs to support frontend applications and third-party integrations
Optimize and enhance revenue-related workflows, including billing, invoicing, and fraud detection
Work closely with product managers, data analysts, and frontend engineers to design monetization strategies that align with business goals
Ensure high availability and reliability of payment processing systems
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to optimize efficiency and scalability
