Requirements

Candidates should have 3+ years of experience as a software engineer, with at least 1 year of experience in Ruby on Rails. Familiarity with ReactJS, Typescript, object-oriented programming, relational databases like PostgreSQL, data modeling, efficient query writing, and unit testing frameworks is required. Excellent written communication skills are also necessary. Experience with payment systems like Stripe or similar gateways, and previous experience working on marketplaces are considered a plus.

Responsibilities

The Software Engineer will write maintainable code and implement new features for Fleetio's Marketplace, focusing on connecting customers to maintenance shops, facilitating services, approvals, transactions, billing, and data entry. They will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality software, contribute to technical discussions, deliver well-tested and performant code, prototype and experiment with technical approaches, and participate in code reviews.
