Requirements

  • In penultimate year of university, graduating no earlier than summer 2028
  • Strong academic record, achieving or expecting a 2:1 or above in Computer Science/Software Engineering or related field
  • Strong coding ability in object-oriented languages such as Java, C#, or C++
  • Undeniable passion for software engineering; examples of work outside core curriculum is a plus
  • Strong desire to understand and leverage new tools and technologies
  • Analytical abilities, including ability to translate and communicate technical requirements
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a tight-knit, agile team
  • Demonstrated software engineering experience from previous internships, work experience, coding competitions, or publications is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Help develop the next generation of Visa enterprise-class solutions for global client base
  • Gain exposure to multiple facets of the software development lifecycle
  • Work across different product lanes to gain insight into software engineering practices, technologies, and product complexities
  • Use GEN AI tooling to work bolder, faster, and smarter
  • Work within an Agile environment embracing Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, and Development
  • Grow knowledge and understanding of software engineering through Visa’s progressive technical community
