Must have completed the second year of college in an accredited engineering program
Ability to perform physical demands: sit, stand, walk; full use and range of motion of arms, hands, and fingers; occasionally bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, lift up to 25 pounds; specific vision abilities (close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, adjust focus); respond to audible alarms and evacuate
Ability to work in a normal factory environment, including enclosed spaces, exposure to hazards, moderate noise, outside elements, and use of PPE (safety glasses, hearing protection, flame retardant clothing); navigate stairs, elevators, uneven terrain, confined spaces; occasional travel
Responsibilities
Monitor activities of the assigned department
Assist mentor in day-to-day tasks
Work on assigned projects with the close supervision of mentor
Participate actively in department/plant safety and environmental programs
Perform duties in a manner that protects personal safety and the safety of all personnel on site
Promptly report Safety, Health, or Environmental incidents or issues to management
Attend Monthly Safety Meetings to help prevent off-site and job accidents
