Candidates must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university program during the internship. A completed BS degree with an MS or PhD in progress is required. Desired majors include Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Math, or a related field. Required coursework includes algorithms, data structures, and operating systems, with recommended coursework in database systems and cloud computing. Excellent programming skills in C++ or Java and strong problem-solving abilities are essential. Fluency in English, both oral and written, is required, along with experience working in a team and dedication to technology.
The Software Engineer Intern will contribute to building enterprise-grade, reliable software and services. Interns will work on challenging projects, gain exposure to SQL and other database technologies, and collaborate with world-class experts. They will also receive detailed direction and feedback throughout the internship while being treated as a full member of the Snowflake engineering team.
