  • 4-6 years of professional software engineering experience with a proven track record of delivering production-grade applications
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make strategic tradeoffs in system design
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills — ability to influence, build consensus, and resolve conflicts
  • Basic knowledge of AI concepts and practical applications (e.g. familiarity with machine learning fundamentals, AI-driven APIs, or integrating AI features into applications)
  • Required: Java 17; Spring 3 & Spring Security; React 18; Cloud-native programming (microservices, 12-factor); Caching (Redis or Valkey); Design patterns / DDD / SOLID; JPA/ORM (Hibernate); Python 3; Git; Docker & Kubernetes; Practical ChatGPT/LLM usage; RESTful APIs & messaging platforms; PostgreSQL (including JSONB)
  • Good to have: Extensive Python 3 (Pandas, PySpark); LangChain / LangGraph; Autogen / CrewAI; Ollama or LM Studio; Camunda 7/8 & Drools — experience with workflow/rules engines and advanced data-processing tooling

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy highly available, scalable cloud-native systems with a focus on reliability, performance, and maintainability
  • Develop and optimize full-stack applications using Java 17, Spring 3, React 18, and JavaScript, ensuring high performance and reliability
  • Support potential integrations of AI and associated technologies (LLMs, Gen AI, agentic frameworks) into production applications
  • Build and maintain RESTful web services, messaging platforms, and PostgreSQL (including JSONB datatypes) for real-time data processing and storage
  • Perform low- and high-level design and implement microservices-based solutions following service-oriented and domain-driven design principles
  • Deploy and manage services on Azure or GCP using Docker and Kubernetes, and drive CI/CD and DevOps best practices
  • Ensure system performance, reliability, and scalability through sound design patterns, JPA, Spring Security, and database optimizations
  • Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and product teams to define system architecture, APIs, and delivery roadmaps
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and innovation
