Requirements

Experience in software development or test automation, with real-world projects building and maintaining testable systems
Proficiency in Java (Java 8 or above, LTS versions), comfortable writing testable Java code and using modern language features
Experience with Playwright or similar UI automation tools to automate browser-based testing and validate user experiences
Familiarity with performance testing tools (K6, JMeter) to simulate load and measure system responsiveness
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments, integrating tests into automated workflows and working with Docker-based setups
Experience using GitHub for version control and familiarity with AI-assisted tooling like Copilot in modern development environments
Strong SQL skills to write optimized queries and understand relational data models
Proficiency in development languages including but not limited to: Java/J2EE, JavaScript, JSP, C/C++, HTML, XML, SQL, Windows, UNIX
Familiarity with industry best practices, such as code coverage
Ability to write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity

Responsibilities

Develop automated test frameworks and test cases for backend and UI components
Collaborate with developers and QA to ensure high-quality releases
Contribute to performance testing using K6 or JMeter
Participate in code reviews and share testing best practices
Support CI/CD integration of test suites
Work closely with other development team members to understand moderately complex product requirements and translate them into software designs
All other duties as assigned
