Requirements

  • Experience in software development or test automation, with real-world projects building and maintaining testable systems
  • Proficiency in Java (Java 8 or above, LTS versions), comfortable writing testable Java code and using modern language features
  • Experience with Playwright or similar UI automation tools to automate browser-based testing and validate user experiences
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools (K6, JMeter) to simulate load and measure system responsiveness
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments, integrating tests into automated workflows and working with Docker-based setups
  • Experience using GitHub for version control and familiarity with AI-assisted tooling like Copilot in modern development environments
  • Strong SQL skills to write optimized queries and understand relational data models
  • Proficiency in development languages including but not limited to: Java/J2EE, JavaScript, JSP, C/C++, HTML, XML, SQL, Windows, UNIX
  • Familiarity with industry best practices, such as code coverage
  • Ability to write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity

Responsibilities

  • Develop automated test frameworks and test cases for backend and UI components
  • Collaborate with developers and QA to ensure high-quality releases
  • Contribute to performance testing using K6 or JMeter
  • Participate in code reviews and share testing best practices
  • Support CI/CD integration of test suites
  • Work closely with other development team members to understand moderately complex product requirements and translate them into software designs
  • All other duties as assigned
