Responsibilities

Improve the sim/resim cloud framework and applications, involving Python coding, interacting with open source packages, and AWS/GCP services
Analyze performance bottlenecks through benchmarking and create dashboards to track and summarize information
Implement solutions to increase efficiency based on benchmarking insights
Ensure the framework is intuitive and easy to use by incorporating user feedback and observing usage patterns
Engage with users (autonomy, systems, test, and other teams) to understand needs and plan future improvements
Make the framework well-documented and self-serve for extensions by other teams
Contribute to managing storage and searching of vehicle logs, including automating indexing of interesting actors and interactions, and determining dataset coverage
Support post-resim processing by enabling easy addition of metrics for AV performance analysis (from low-level detectors to high-level business objectives) and implementing metrics as needed
