Requirements

The Software Engineer II (L3) will possess full-stack experience, including the ability to write, test, and deploy Javascript and Ruby code, and should demonstrate a growth mindset and curiosity. Candidates should be able to break down epics into smaller user stories and tasks, and quickly understand documentation while utilizing testing techniques like unit, integration, and stress testing. Furthermore, they should be capable of identifying areas for improvement in the codebase and taking ownership of small-to-medium-sized systems, including bug fixes and performance optimization, while adhering to best practices such as encryption and input validation.

Responsibilities

This role involves writing secure and efficient code, developing scalable and reusable code, identifying areas for improvement in the codebase, communicating effectively with team members and stakeholders, adapting to roadblocks and proactively resolving issues, aligning work with customer value by utilizing feedback, and balancing priorities while seeking guidance when needed. The Software Engineer II will also participate in team sprint rituals, such as stand-up, planning, refinement, and retro, and collaborate with a product engineering team, Product Designer, and Product Manager to deliver impactful projects.
