Responsibilities

  • Maintain, improve, and add features to a large and mature Java code base
  • Solve real-world problems with platform changes, extension creation, and automated flows
  • Produce quality code by writing automated tests and participating in peer code review
  • Mitigate and document cybersecurity risks
  • Enhance custom frameworks
  • Learn about the medical industry as needed
  • Investigate bug reports from end users and provide software solutions to user-facing teams
  • Interact directly with user-facing staff to define input requirements
  • Communicate regularly with the team to coordinate projects, overcome roadblocks, and celebrate successes
  • Work with manager to personalize growth path
  • Contribute to GE Healthcare's mission of improving patient care
