Position Overview

As a Software Engineer, you will primarily focus on back-end development for our advertising technology platform, Predict. You will collaborate closely with experienced engineers, including the Principal Back-End Engineer, and be involved in all stages of the software development lifecycle.

A Day in the Life

  • Engage primarily in back-end development, with potential for some front-end development.
  • Contribute to both maintenance (30-40%) and new feature development (60-70%).
  • Participate in two-week sprints managed via ClickUp.
  • Collaborate with product managers on sprint planning.
  • Contribute to technical and product roadmaps.
  • Gain opportunities to learn and work with new technologies.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a focus on back-end development.
  • Proficiency in Ruby on Rails.
  • Experience with Python, SQL, Go, ReactJS, or Java is a plus.
  • Proven ability to contribute to development projects and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools and technologies to enhance software development processes, improve code quality, and drive innovative solutions.
  • Strong engineering fundamentals.
  • Adaptability and a desire to learn.
