Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
5+ years of hands-on experience building and managing cloud platforms with a strong focus on cloud-native application lifecycle management
Proficiency in programming with Java, Go, or Python
Deep expertise in container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes) and developing scalable, reliable lifecycle management systems
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify system-level issues and drive cross-functional solutions
Demonstrated experience mentoring team members, leading small-scale projects, and collaborating across teams to deliver impactful outcomes

Responsibilities

Lead the design and management of the full lifecycle for eBay’s cloud-native products and services, supporting diverse applications from backend systems to Machine Learning and GenAI workloads
Build intuitive user interfaces and custom CLIs that simplify cloud operations and accelerate developer workflows
Continuously integrate emerging open-source technologies (e.g., Kubernetes) to deliver a reliable, secure, and scalable cloud platform
Develop automation and diagnostic tools in Go and Java to optimize performance and streamline operations
Partner with internal teams to validate, adopt, and integrate new capabilities across the eBay Cloud platform
Architect observability frameworks that deliver deep insight into application health, enabling proactive monitoring and fast issue resolution
