Requirements

Candidates should possess 3–5 years of experience building full-stack applications, experience designing and maintaining APIs and distributed systems, and strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and experience with modern frontend development tools. They should also have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, and be eager to learn, along with opinions about how to architect scalable codebases.

Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer on the CI/CD team, you will build high-performance microservices that power the entire deployment lifecycle, participate in an on-call rotation for the Vercel build pipeline, improve the Deployments user interface, identify opportunities and lead projects to enhance performance, reliability, and developer experience of CI/CD on Vercel, improve the developer experience for both small projects and large monorepos, stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in CI/CD technologies, and engage with the open-source community, participate in discussions, and contribute to related projects, aligning with Vercel's commitment to giving back to the developer community, and write clean, efficient, tested, and well-documented code.
