Position Overview

Vouched is building a powerful identity verification platform to provide worldwide access to life’s most critical services, such as healthcare and prescription services, banking, and lending. We leverage AI, cloud solutions, machine learning, data checks, and APIs at the edge to make identity verification easy for our customers. Our customers use our APIs, integrations, and no-code solutions to onboard customers to their systems. Vouched provides businesses with frictionless and fair access to these critical services.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the product team to deliver valuable enhancements incrementally.
• Build features across a stack including: Typescript, React, PostgreSQL, Redis, Node.js, Python, REST, Docker.
• Build APIs and SDKs to access ML/DL models.
• Define testable technical specifications with edge cases, security, and scalability in mind.
• Build, test, tune, and debug across the entire production stack.
• Work in a Scrum engineering process environment.
• Work in a customer-focused, lean engineering and evolving late-stage startup environment.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent computational science degree.
• 5+ years experience with SaaS backend engineering, with Node.js, Typescript, and/or Python.
• Github and Terraform-based CI/CD deployment system experience.
• Technical lead capability with a collaborative and mentoring mindset.
• Experience building end-to-end capabilities.
• Experience working with microservices.
• Drive and ambition to be an owner.
• Polyglot engineer mindset.
• Deep expertise in backend with front-end skills and exposure, and a willingness to jump into unfamiliar areas.
