Requirements

Candidates must have 3+ years of experience developing software with object-oriented and/or functional programming languages, specifically Python, and 2+ years building distributed systems at scale. A minimum of 2 years with a modern data stack including technologies like RDS, Databricks, Spark, Redshift, Kafka, Airflow, lakehouse architectures, real-time databases, and dbt is required, along with deep SQL and data modeling expertise. Experience with API frameworks and developing AI/ML features is considered a plus.

Responsibilities

Backend Engineers will write clean, concise application code in modern Python, participate in technical architecture discussions, and conduct peer code reviews. They will drive architectural changes such as enhanced data pipelines and scalable APIs, and collaborate cross-departmentally to understand business needs and develop new product features.
