Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical or computer Engineering
  • 2+ years of embedded software development experience
  • Proficiency in writing and debugging C code
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and good interpersonal skills to work effectively in a geographically dispersed team
  • Individually motivated; ability to pursue goals with a high degree of independence and motivation
  • Ability to stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices

Responsibilities

  • Work with Software Architects to understand and implement Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) requirements and designs within the team
  • Collaborate with an agile-scrum team to develop embedded software for the Body domain using C code
  • Create and integrate software while following best practices
  • Develop software interfaces as needed to integrate new components and enhance existing software capabilities
  • Identify and resolve software issues and contribute to the team’s knowledge base for future reference
  • Archive software components in GIT repository databases and coordinate retention efforts between controls and software teams
  • Design test cases to ensure comprehensive software testing at the unit, component, and integrated levels
