Requirements

8+ years of experience leading and contributing to scalable projects within high-growth, fast-paced organizations
Strong systems mindset: Ability to stitch in-house and third-party tools to solve complex problems, utilizing LLMs along with MCPs for agentic use cases
Multitasker comfortable with interrupts, especially those blocking engineers; ability to switch between project work, observability, and deploy challenges
Interest in learning how tools work at a fundamental level, including digging into third-party source code to find new uses
Pragmatic and business-oriented: Focus on business impact, prioritize projects balancing craft, speed, and bottom line; understand technology tradeoffs, open to learning new technologies

Responsibilities

Build tools for Notion engineers to triage problems faster, support agentic AI workflows, and create an end-to-end testing platform using AI capabilities
Create a healthy team environment embodying Notion's values
Improve agentic AI abilities: Enable AI agents to refactor code, fix bugs, write tests, and triage issues
Partner with Developer Experience team to enhance Notion’s CI and CD pipelines and improve developer experience
Collaborate closely with product engineering teams and extended teams (e.g., QA, CX) to understand automation needs and augment workflows using agentic AI
