Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain cross-platform web/mobile applications using React JS, React Native.
  • Build and optimize scalable backend services and APIs using Node JS, Angular, .NET Core / ASP.NET.
  • Experience with GraphQL, Vue JS.
  • Collaborate with designers, product owners, and fellow engineers to deliver seamless user experiences.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code across the stack.
  • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
  • Stay ahead of the curve with emerging technologies and best practices in full stack development.
  • Requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.
  • Use your skills to make an impact.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience in software development.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Strong hands-on experience with React JS, React Native, Web and mobile app development.
  • Backend development/services development skills using Node JS, Angular or .Net 8.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
  • A passion for clean architecture, performance optimization, and user-centric design.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with TypeScript, GraphQL, or microservices architecture.

Additional Information

  • Salary: $80,900 - $110,300 per year (Pay Range)
    • This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.
  • Internet Service Requirements for Remote Work:
    • Minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps.
    • Wireless, wired cable, or DSL connection suggested.
    • Satellite, cellular, and microwave connections may be used if approved by leadership.
    • Employees in California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will receive bi-weekly internet expense payments.
  • Equipment: Humana will provide appropriate telephone equipment for remote employees.
  • Work Environment: Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.
  • Travel: Occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required, despite this being a remote position.
