3+ years of commercial software development experience
Proven understanding of OOP, functional programming, and software lifecycle
Advanced code development skills in Java and Scala (or other JVM language)
Experience developing and maintaining micro-services, REST APIs, CI/CD pipelines, source control tools, DevOps principles and observability tools
Experience with Apache Spark and Kafka is a big plus

Apply software quality principles by performing code reviews, assuring code coverage and analyze cost efficiency for developed code
Perform on-call activities, on rotation with the rest of the team
Collaborate with other teams, product management and customer engineering
