Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain components of PitchBook’s platform services (hands-on development integral)
  • Implement well-designed, testable and efficient code that meets product requirements, coding standards, performance, scalability, reliability, and organization’s goals/principles
  • Collaborate with other engineers, product managers and internal stakeholders in an Agile environment
  • Provide technical guidance and perform code reviews for team members
  • Design and deliver on small projects end-to-end with little to no guidance
  • Provide support to applications in production (deployment, troubleshooting, incident management)
  • Support the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors
  • Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested
  • Solve a variety of challenges using sound judgement
  • Develop expertise in the team’s domain and apply to future challenges
  • Collaborate with external and internal stakeholders to resolve mutual problems
  • Provide technical guidance to less experienced peers
