Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field and have over 5 years of experience as a developer, QA Engineer, or SDET. This includes experience in programmatically testing products, measuring test coverage, developing automation, driving testability and diagnostic ability into products, and promoting quality best practices. Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance, distributed system design, web application software, and object-oriented design principles is required, along with proficiency in mobile app architecture, testing strategies, and security best practices. Experience with mobile testing using Appium, automation frameworks like Selenium and Katalon, and agile methodologies is essential. Familiarity with Xray Test Management for Jira is a plus.

Responsibilities

The Software Development Engineer in Test will lead mobile test automation efforts for native and cross-platform applications, ensuring robust, secure, and high-quality mobile experiences. Responsibilities include defining and implementing mobile automation test cases, testing for vulnerabilities in network, device, and application layers, and assessing requirements to derive mobile-specific test scenarios. The role involves participating in product discussions, collaborating with engineers and product managers, and taking ownership of the entire lifecycle of mobile testing stories, including development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. Proactively identifying requirements, solving problems, and driving quality improvements in mobile testing are key aspects of this position.
