Requirements

Candidates should possess an advanced degree in computer science or software engineering, along with 7+ years of experience in software test automation or software development. They must be proficient in automation frameworks and CI test tools, and have experience developing test automation frameworks from scratch or familiarity with existing frameworks. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a ‘test first’ approach are also required, along with experience working in Unix/Linux and AWS environments, and familiarity with JavaScript or Python.

Responsibilities

The Software Development Engineer in Test will define automation strategies, design and develop new automation frameworks, maintain and improve existing automation test suites, monitor and analyze test automation results, contribute to automation infrastructure improvements, and collaborate with developers, QA, and PMs to identify automation test cases. They will also work with the Platform Engineering team to ensure seamless and effective software delivery.
