Requirements

  • Proven experience in test automation (minimum 3+ years preferred)
  • Proficiency in Java with a strong understanding of OOP principles
  • Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Cucumber (BDD)
  • Proven API testing experience (REST/SOAP) including automation with tools such as RestAssured
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins
  • Strong knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, and Cucumber (BDD)
  • Develop and execute API automated tests using tools such as RestAssured, Postman, or equivalent
  • Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to define test strategies and ensure full coverage
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
  • Maintain test data, perform regression testing, and analyze test results to identify issues
  • Apply OOP principles to create maintainable and scalable test solutions
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
  • Troubleshoot and optimize automation scripts and frameworks
