Software Engineer, Zoom Apps & SDK

Position Overview

Zoom is seeking a Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of Zoom Apps and SDKs. This role involves building new features, resolving bugs, and enabling developer partners by solving complex problems. You will be instrumental in showcasing Zoom's platform capabilities through innovative applications.

Employment Type

• Full-time

Salary Range

• Minimum: $142,000.00
• Maximum: $186,000.00

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience. A location-based compensation structure may apply, resulting in different ranges for candidates in various locations. Zoom's Total Direct Compensation philosophy includes base salary, bonus, and equity value.

Location Type

• Telecommuting work arrangement permitted: position may work in various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.
• Position does not require domestic or international travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop Built by Zoom Apps and SDKs, including researching and building new features.
• Fix bugs and issues within the Zoom Apps and SDK ecosystem.
• Enable developer partners by solving complex problems related to the platform.
• Develop Built by Zoom Apps by researching and building new features on both backend and frontend.
• Demonstrate Zoom's platform capabilities via developed apps.
• Code complex algorithms using Javascript and Node.js.
• Research and build infrastructure for Apps and SDK CDN in the Cloud.

Requirements

• Education: Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems Management, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or foreign equivalent).
• Experience:
  • 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
  • 2 years of experience in Javascript & Node.js.
  • 2 years of experience in Frontend technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.
  • 2 years of experience in MVC backend technologies such as Express/Node.js, Ruby on Rails, or Django/Python.
  • 2 years of experience in Web APIs, OAuth APIs, and REST APIs.
