Position Overview

This role involves leading and tutoring junior engineers in the development and release of frontend services using modern JavaScript frameworks. The position requires experience with HTML/CSS, REST APIs, and a strong understanding of software development best practices. Telecommuting is permitted with potential work in various locations throughout the U.S.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Networking, or equivalent foreign degree.
• Experience:
  • 4 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
  • 4 years of experience in Vue or React framework development.
  • 4 years of experience as a tech lead, guiding a team of engineers in development, code review, and product release.
  • 4 years of experience with HTML/CSS.
  • 4 years of experience working with REST APIs/WebSockets.

Responsibilities

• Compose web pages using HTML/CSS.
• Utilize React or Vue framework to communicate with REST-based backend services.
• Lead and tutor junior engineers.
• Test JavaScript code using JS test frameworks such as MochaJS.
• Build, package (e.g., using webpack), and release frontend components.
• Review peer code.
