Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or other related analytical, scientific, or technical discipline
4+ years documented and demonstrated experience in a Backend Developer/Full Stack role
Experience with TypeScript, NestJS, and React/Next.js frameworks
Experience with PostgreSQL, Liquibase, and Prisma or comparable data persistence layers
Experience building microservices architectures and RESTful APIs
Familiarity with Zustand, useSWR, Storybook, and Jest
Understanding of Agile (SAFe) development practices
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
On-site availability in Washington DC (no remote option)

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and optimize full-stack web applications for case management and analytics
Lead technical implementation for major features and act as a subject matter expert on key integrations and system interfaces
Collaborate with stakeholders and product owners to decompose epics into actionable Agile stories and tasks under the SAFe methodology
Design and implement scalable NestJS microservices and TypeScript REST APIs with Swagger/OpenAPI documentation
Develop responsive, component-driven UIs using React, Next.js, Storybook, and Jest
Manage and maintain PostgreSQL-based database infrastructure using Liquibase for schema migrations and Prisma for ORM data persistence
Champion best practices in TDD, code reviews, and architectural decision-making to ensure high-quality, maintainable software delivery
Mentor junior team members and promote a collaborative engineering culture
