Requirements

  • Minimum 7.5 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering MES
  • Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience on Opcenter Execution Discrete tool
  • Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience on Out of the Box capabilities of Opcenter Execution Discrete tool
  • Experience of data export-import or data migration from lower environment to higher environments
  • Knowledge of ISA95 standard
  • Knowledge of Validation aspects and related software
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles and methodologies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • 15 years full-time education

Responsibilities

  • Implement the configuration management plan as directed by the Configuration Lead
  • Assist in the design of software configuration and customization to meet the business process design and application requirements
  • Configure Siemens Opcenter Discrete and MOM systems according to business requirements, ensuring optimal performance and functionality
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical specifications for system configuration
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of configured systems to ensure they meet specified requirements and quality standards
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of configuration settings, processes, and changes to ensure traceability and compliance
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for configured systems, addressing any issues that arise and implementing necessary adjustments
