Requirements

Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred, but significant relevant experience considered)
7+ years in Backend development
Proficiency in Ruby on Rails
Frameworks/Libraries: Pandas, Numpy, Polars
Extensive experience in building and maintaining web applications
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure)
Familiarity with Docker (nice to have)
Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and No-SQL databases (Redis, MongoDB, Elasticsearch)
Experience with message queues like Kafka
Foundational understanding of software architecture, data structures, and modern programming languages
Strong analytical skills to analyze problems and collaborate on solutions

Responsibilities

Participate in the design, development, and maintenance of backend services and APIs

Contribute to code reviews and adhere to best practices, improving idiomatic language proficiency and strong fundamentals
Assist in managing data using both SQL and NoSQL databases in cloud environments like Azure
