High School Diploma or GED
2-year degree in electrical controls or electronics
2 years of Industrial Electrician experience
At least five years of industrial electrical maintenance work or relevant military experience (alternative to degree/experience)
Completed approved four-year apprentice program (alternative)
Qualify under ITAR/EAR compliance: U.S. citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, Asylee or Refugee, National of a country not prohibited from having access to U.S. controlled technology (via a letter of assurance), or a Person to be approved for an export license
Ability to work mandatory shift work

Responsibilities

Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems and equipment
Operate/use complex electrical tools
Work from circuit diagrams and SOP’s (when available) and recommend alterations to Lead Electrician or other appropriate departmental personnel
Assume duties of Lead Electrician when absent
Recognize operational irregularities on equipment or processes, accurately determine the cause, and take appropriate corrective actions
Assist Lead Electrician with providing training to other departmental personnel/apprentices/co-ops/2YD
