Requirements

  • University education in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline (preferred but not mandatory)
  • 5+ years experience in a site reliability, dev ops, or systems engineering position
  • JLPT N1 level of proficiency
  • English language fluency
  • Intermediate knowledge of cloud service operations (AWS), including data assurance, monitoring, alerting and notifications
  • Intermediate knowledge of Infrastructure as code (Terraform/OpenTofu)
  • Intermediate knowledge of containers and orchestration platforms
  • Intermediate knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cloud native environments
  • Problem solving and decision making skills
  • Intermediate proficiency programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash, or Go). The ability to write and understand code for automating tasks
  • International travel when required
  • Willingness to work according to a hybrid work schedule (3 days in office)

Responsibilities

  • Build and scale the technology infrastructure to meet rapidly increasing demand
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to launch new features and services
  • Deliver automation solutions for deployment, monitoring, management, and incident response
  • Develop and improve operational practices and procedures
  • Participate in incident response and resolution activities, including root cause analysis, to minimize downtime and prevent future occurrences
  • Coach more junior colleagues in techniques, processes, and responsibilities
