Requirements

Candidates should possess at least 3 years of experience in an SRE role, or at least 5 years of experience in an adjacent role such as platform engineering, with experience operating in a scaled environment. A firm grasp of the SRE philosophy and mindset, supported by practical experience working on or with SRE teams focused on proactive system design and improvement, is essential. Demonstrated ability to manage risk, make sound judgments, and plan and deliver long-term projects is also required.

Responsibilities

As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will ensure products are built for reliability and scale by engaging in the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of new software, drive continuous risk mitigation and reduction through incident management and postmortems, and drive measurable improvements to the reliability, performance, and efficiency of production systems through instrumentation and engineering improvements. You will also devise repeatable operational practices through the development of automated systems for software delivery, system failover, and capacity management, while working in close partnership with the EU-based developer team to enhance Compute infrastructure and manage for risk as major innovations are introduced to the compute stack.
