Requirements

Minimum 12 years of experience (ideally 15+ years) in Embedded Systems development
Embedded C++ (must-have); Embedded C, C++, Python (including scripting)
Experience with ARM, PowerPC, x86 controllers and custom hardware bring-up
Strong knowledge of RTOS concepts (IPC, scheduling), BIOS/UEFI, FPGA basics
Proficiency in build systems (CMake, Makefiles)
Understanding of system architecture, algorithms, data structures
Familiarity with debugging tools, configuration management systems
Statistics, Pandas, Python, SQL; Neural Networks
15 years full-time education; Bachelor’s/Master’s in Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related field
Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, communication, and collaboration abilities

Responsibilities

Design and develop embedded software solutions for complex systems
Perform custom hardware bring-up for controllers (ARM, PowerPC, x86)
Collaborate on system architecture design and integration
Implement and optimize algorithms and data structures for embedded environments
Work with RTOS concepts including IPC and scheduling
Develop and maintain build systems using CMake and Makefiles
Conduct debugging, performance tuning, and reliability improvements
Interface with FPGA fundamentals and BIOS/UEFI components
Ensure compliance with coding standards and documentation practices
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical reviews
Write software that powers and operates silicon chips
Develop pre-silicon firmware and software with direct hardware interface
Integrate and develop C tests/APIs and software build flow
Perform design and code reviews
Test and validate product implementations
