Requirements

Candidates must be a US Citizen with an active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph, possessing seven years of experience as a Signals Software Engineer (SSWE) in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity with a focus on Radio Frequency (RF), including experience with Fourier transforms, filtering, communications theory, digital modulation, error control coding, signals analysis tools, and digital signal processing. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required, and four years of additional SSWE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

The Signals Software Engineer will develop, maintain, and enhance signal processing software, including detectors, demodulators, and protocol processors; review and test software components for adherence to design requirements and document test results; resolve software problem reports; utilize appropriate software development methodologies; and provide input to the software components of system design, considering hardware/software trade-offs and software reuse.
