Familiar with Revit and other 3D modeling programs
Familiar with CAD for setting up, updating, and editing Show Lighting drawings

Responsibilities

Works to support Senior and Principal Show Lighting Designer
Supports the development and communication of Show Lighting design concepts
Research fixture information and lighting technologies in support of design effort
Input and develop Show Lighting database, schedule, dimmer panels, Show Lighting drawings
Supports specification writing and cut sheet creation
Sets up Show Lighting drawings in CAD and updates and edits drawings as directed
Supports the designer with setting up views and gathering information from 3D models
Interface with BIM support and 3D model makers from other disciplines
Interface with electrical engineering disciplines to ensure placement of lighting design on electrical drawings
Assist with drawing and specification reviews
Assists and directs in field implementation of Show Lighting design, including communicating and coordinating with other DOWs and construction personnel
Supports the design implementation and lighting installation effort for the project interfacing and coordinating with the project team including Show Lighting Designers whose specialty is in the area of lighting control
Perform in field test and adjust tasks and supervises crews in the focusing and adjusting of lighting equipment
Interface with other disciplines throughout the various project phases as required
Works to support Senior and Principal Show Lighting Designer in order to adhere to budget and schedule
Support mock-ups and presentations including set-ups and strikes
Supports and coordinates the process of owner furnishing show lighting as needed
Supports purchasing and organizing of test and adjust equipment
Document the implemented design
