Proven ability to work in a team setting

Ability to interface with plant management, supervisors, and production personnel
Minimum of 2 years job related experience (top candidates)

Responsibilities

Preparing surfaces and applying paint or other finishes using spray equipment, ensuring high standards of quality and safety
Accurately utilizing data collection systems
Effectively performing basic assembly and disassembly operations
Using blueprints, gauges, torque measuring devices, and/or other equipment to ensure conformance to quality specifications
Using precision measuring devices to effectively assemble and/or disassemble final product
Performing preventive maintenance
Assisting in identifying issues and initiating corrective action processes
Performing 5S Audits
Performing Safety Stop Audits observations
Participating in the CI/PID Process
Performing any duties or tasks assigned to promote cross training or support for various areas of the shop
Following the Caterpillar Production System (CPS) Standard Work Sheets
Promoting a culture based on our Values in Action
Following established facility safety policies, safe job procedures, hazardous risk assessments, and using proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Working with a variety of employees to effectively communicate needs and perform job-related tasks
Serving as a positive role model and contributing to team effort by supporting all employees
Ensuring customer requirements are met
Conducting business with the highest level of honesty and integrity
Operating a variety of tools and equipment to assemble and disassemble prime product
